Křižanovice u Vyškova

Křižanovice u Vyškova until 1960 Křižanovice ( German Krischanowitz, formerly Krzizanowitz ) is a municipality in the Czech Republic. It is located three kilometers north-east of Vyškov and belongs to Okres Vyškov.

Geography

Křižanovice u Vyškova located in the Hanna on a terrace on the left side above the river Haná. To the south, the foothills of the Litenčické raise Hills. On the southern periphery of the railway line Vyškov leads - Přerov over, the next station is Hoštice - Heroltice. In the west the highway R 46 runs, there is the descent 2 Vyškov -východ. To the northwest is the airfield Vyškov.

Neighboring towns are Pustiměř and Drysice in the north, Ivanovice na Hané in the northeast, Hoštice - Heroltice in the east, Trpinka and Rybníček the southeast, Topolany in the south, Brňany, Křečkovice and Vyškov the southwest, Pazderna and Dědice in the west and Radslavice and Pustiměřské Prusy in the northwest.

History

The first written mention of the village was in the possession of the Escrow Olomouc Bishop Heinrich Zdiks from the year 1131 all of the Church of St. Peter goods belonging to the newly built St. Wenceslas. In it for the Pustimirer Gau related goods Nemojany, Podivice and Rostěnice and possessions in Vyškov, Dražovice, Hlubočany, Želeč, Křižanovice and the desert village Melice at Pustimir were called. When setting up the parish Topolany Křižanovice was in 1388 together with Heroltice and Rybníček assigned to. In 1408 the bishopric of Olomouc Artleb Říčany handed a fief in Křižanovice. Until the mid-19th century Křižanovice remained subservient always to Vyškov. In 1791 Křižanovice had 180 inhabitants. In 1848, the entire village was burned down.

After the abolition of patrimonial Křižanovice formed in 1850 a municipality in the district team Wischau. 1854 187 people lived in the community. 1859, the parish was renewed in Topolany. 1880, the village had 202 inhabitants and 1921 there were 248 Since 1961, the municipality bears the official name suffix u Vyškova. In 1986 Křižanovice u Vyškova was incorporated into Vyškov. In 1990, the congregation arose again and since 2001, she leads a coat of arms and banners.
