Location

Kruschwitz located at the outflow of the Noteć (Eng. networks) from the Goplosee.

History

The place was described by Gallus Anonymus as castrum Crusuicz, established location of the Piast dynasty, then known as Cruciuis 1133 and 1193 Crusvicia. After the early legend of the " Mouse Tower of Kruschwitz on Goplosee " the Piast dynasty are descended from the Rademacher Piast, whose son Siemowit had risen after the demise of an older dynasty Duke of Greater Poland.
