Kunčina Ves

Kunčina Ves ( German Kunz village, formerly Kunzinow ) is a municipality in the Czech Republic. It is located eight kilometers south-west of Kunstat and belongs to Okres Blansko.

Geography

Kunčina Ves is located in the Sýkořská pahorkatina, a subunit of Nedvědička highlands in the Bohemian-Moravian Highlands. The village is situated at the eastern foot of the Kozárovský Kopec (664 m) at the Bach Býkovka, which rises 300 m northwest of the places. To the south rises the Kravi hlava ( 566 m) in the southwest of Babylon ( 656 m ) and northwest of the Láze ( 642 m). Kunčina Ves is located southeast of the Natural Park Lysicko.

Neighboring towns are Bedřichov and Kunice in the north, Lhota u Lysic and Záoboří in the northeast, Štěchov, Lačnov and Žerůtky in the east, Býkovice, Dlouhá Lhota and Brťov - Jeneč the southeast, Zhoř and Rašov in the south, Strhaře and Kozárov the southwest, Žleby and Osiky in the west and Brumov in the northwest.

History

Kunčina Ves was probably founded in the 13th century by the Lords of Lomnitz. The first written mention of the until then to rule Lomnice associated village was in 1392 in the wake of the sale of part of the village to the rule Lysice. 1658 bought Ferdinand Leopold Graf Březnický Náchod on Lysice also Lomnitzer proportion to, so from this point on the entire village to Lysice was submissive. He had to create a stately courtyard and enlarge the village. In the second half of the 17th century, the town name was changed in Kunčinov.

After the abolition of patrimonial Kunčinov formed in 1850 a municipality in the district team Boskovice. In 1900, 313 people lived in the 36 houses of the village. The volunteer fire department was founded 1912. 1927 the firehouse was completed. In the course of the land reform was carried out 1924 parcellation of the manorial court. In 1925 the town was renamed and given back its original name Kunčina Ves. School location was initially Bedřichov. With the significant support of the Earl of Dubský Třebomyslice on Lysice 1939 could a school be opened in Kunčina Ves, in which the children were enrolled from the neighboring village Kozárov. After the dissolution of Okres Boskovice Kunčina Ves came with the beginning of 1961 to Okres Blansko. In 1969, the school was closed and re-trained the children after Lysice. In the school building, a cultural hall was inaugurated in 1976, at the same time there was also the municipal office into its new home. On 1 July 1980, the annexation took place after Lysice. Since 1990, the community is again. In 2000, the village consisted of 39 houses, of which 23 were permanently inhabited.
