Geography

Lake in the Hills is located in the northwest suburban area of Chicago near the western shore of the Fox River, a right tributary of the opening into the Mississippi River Illinois. The town is located at 42 ° 10'54 " north latitude and 88 ° 19'49 " west longitude and covers 27.48 km ². Lake of the Hills is located in the Algonquin Township and Grafton Township.
