Lalawélé Atakora

Atakora Lalawele (born 9 November 1990) is a Togolese football player. The midfielder, who the WAFU Cup of Nations won with the Togolese national team in 2011, played in his career in his home country, Norway, Sweden and Turkey.

Career

Lalawele first drew attention to himself at the U- 17 World Cup 2007. In the following years courted by several European clubs, he decided how many African talent for a change to Norway. In 2009 he joined Fredrikstad FK in which he first played in the youth team. Towards the end of the Premiership season 2009 he made his debut as a substitute in the Tippeligaen and came to two short sessions. After relegation to the second-class Adecco Ligaen at year-end but initially ran his work permit in Norway from, but the club found a solution and gave him for the first half of 2010 to the Swedish third division club IFK Värnamo in the Division 1 in eleven games, he scored three goals.

In summer 2010 Lalawele returned to Fredrikstad FK, however, came not again about the status of a supplementary player also. In five brief appearances he wore for direct re-emergence of the clubs in the first division, his expiring contract was not renewed. Therefore, he returned to his homeland and joined Liberty Sport du Togo. In May 2011, he participated with the national team at the WAFU Cup of Nations. 's 3-2 playoff victory against Nigeria he was promoted with two goals and an assist for the match-winner and was voted the best player of the tournament.

In August 2011 Lalawele moved again to Sweden. When multiple national champion AIK, he signed a contract until the end of the season with an option for extension. In its first six months, mainly reserve players he conquered in preparation for the Allsvenskan season 2012 a regular place. After streaky performances in the first games of the season, a duel with Daniel Gustavsson developed around the square on the left wing, so that he hesitated between stem and substitutes bench.

For Summer 2013, he joined the Turkish TFF 1 Lig newly promoted Balikesirspor.
