Lana Del Rey

Lana Del Rey ( born June 21, 1986 in New York as Elizabeth Woolridge Grant ) is an American singer. She became famous with the song Video Games, with which she took first place in the 2011 German charts in December. The first studio album Born to Die world could sell more than 5 million times, thus at number 5 in the best-selling albums of 2012.

Biography

Lana Del Rey was born in New York City and grew up in Lake Placid, New York. From the age of 18, she worked as a social worker in New York's homeless shelters and rehabilitation centers for alcoholics and drug addicts. She now lives mainly in London. She stands at the record company Universal under contract. Your artist name Elizabeth Grant chose her own, in order to connect with their music. 2003-2010: Start of career
