Laroque-des-Albères
Laroque -des- Albères (Catalan La Roca d' Albera ) is a commune with 2128 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2011 ) in the department of Pyrénées- Orientales of the Languedoc -Roussillon region. It belongs to the district Ceret and the Canton of Argelès- sur -Mer.
Laroque is located at the foot of the Pyrenees, partly in the plain, in part, on the mountainside. The highest point is the Pic de NEOULOUS ( Puig Neulos ) with 1256 meters.
