Saint-Jean-Pla-de-Corts

Saint- Jean-Pla -de- Corts ( Catalan Sant Joan de Pladecorts ) is a commune with 2035 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2011 ) in the department of Pyrénées- Orientales in the Languedoc- Roussillon region. It belongs to the district Ceret and the canton of Ceret. The village lies in the valley of the river Tech.

Part of the agricultural land is used for growing grapes and vineyards are located within the protected designations of origin Rivesaltes, Muscat de Rivesaltes and Côtes du Roussillon.
