Larry Csonka

Larry Csonka ( born December 25, 1946 in Stow, Ohio, USA ) is a former American football player. He went fullback of the Miami Dolphins in August 1987 in the Pro Football Hall of Fame of the National Football League.

With a size of 190 cm and a weight of 105-115 kg, it reached 1971 to 1973 with the Miami Dolphins three times in a row, the Super Bowl. After a loss to the Dallas Cowboys in Super Bowl VI, the Dolphins as the only team in 1972 managed a "Perfect Season" with 17 wins, followed by Super Bowl VII victory against the Washington Redskins. In Super Bowl VIII, which also won the Miami Dolphins Larry Csonka was voted Most Valuable Player.

As No. 1 draft pick of the Miami Dolphins of 1968 reached Larry Csonka during his career ( 1968-74 & 1979 Miami Dolphins, New York Giants 1976-1978 ) in 1891, running tests 8081 spilled yards ( only 21 turnovers ), 106 ball catches and 68 touchdowns. In the years 1970-1974 Csonka was nominated five times in a row for the Pro Bowl. In 1979 he was elected to the NFL Comeback Player of the Year. His jersey number 39 is not longer available from the Miami Dolphins to other players.
