Laurie Boschman

Laurie Joseph Boschman ( born June 4, 1960 in Major, Saskatchewan ) is a retired Canadian professional ice hockey player who played in the National Hockey League for the Toronto Maple Leafs, Edmonton Oilers, Winnipeg Jets, New Jersey Devils and Ottawa Senators from 1979 to 1993.

Career

Laurie Boschman began his career as a hockey player with the Brandon Wheat Kings, where he played from 1976 to 1979 and with whom he as a master in the Western Hockey League won the President's Cup in the 1978/79 season. Then the winger in the NHL Entry Draft, was selected in 1979 in the first round as the ninth overall player of the Toronto Maple Leafs. For Toronto Boschman played a total of three years before he was transferred towards the end of the 1982/83 season with the Edmonton Oilers, in turn, charges him after only one year at the Winnipeg Jets. In Winnipeg Boschman stayed for seven years before he was released to the New Jersey Devils, where he played from 1990 to 1992. After the Ottawa Senators had the Canadians committed in the NHL Expansion Draft, 1992 New Jersey, he finished after a season in his Canadian home to his NHL career.

After a year's break Boschman ran in the 1994/95 season once more for the Fife Flyers in the British Hockey League.
