Leif Erickson; actually William Wycliffe Anderson ( born October 27, 1911 in Alameda, California, † January 29, 1986 in Pensacola, Florida ) was an American actor.
Life
Leif Erickson starred with his numerous appearances in television series in more than 80 feature and television films. In Germany, he was best known as " Big John " in the series The High Chaparral. Erickson was also under the name of Glenn Erickson; Glen Erickson; Lief Erickson; Glenn Erikson Leif Erikson and listed.
Leif Erickson died due to cancer in Pensacola, Florida on January 29, 1986 at the age of 74 years.
Erickson was married from 1936 to 1942 to actress Frances Farmer.
