Leon Jackson

Leon Jackson ( born December 30, 1988 in Whitburn, Scotland ) is a British pop singer. In his home country, he became known by winning the fourth season of the talent show The X Factor, which aired from August to December 2007 at the evening program of the TV channel ITV.

Career

Jackson grew up in With Burn with his single mother. He first worked as a salesman in retail. His career as a singer began in 2007, anmeldeten him as friends in a karaoke contest, he could decide for himself promptly.

In the summer of 2007 he took part in Glasgow at the auditions for the fourth season of the popular show The X Factor. Supported by his mentor Dannii Minogue he struggled through numerous qualifying rounds. One day after the final, published in the week before Christmas in the UK Jackson's debut single When You Believe, a cover version of the eponymous hit by Mariah Carey and Whitney Houston from the year 1998.
