Libby Ludlow

Libby Ludlow ( born August 26, 1981 in Bellevue, Washington) is a former American alpine skier.

Biography

Libby Ludlow was mainly specializes in the speed disciplines Downhill and Super- G, but also went in the giant slalom at the start. My first race in the World Cup was in Mammoth Mountain on 4 December 1998, the Super -G. Her career was marked by several injuries, thus it took a long time in the World Cup until it was fought a fixed launch site itself. First they came mainly in the North America Cup for use where they could also travel at the top. In 2004 she was U.S. champion in giant slalom before Julia Mancuso.

Her first World Cup points reached Ludlow in November 2002 with the 29th place in the Super G in Aspen. She was also placed three times in the top 10 and a total of 45 times in the top 30. Her best result it reached in January 2006 in Bad Kleinkirchheim with the seventh place in the Super -G.

Libby Ludlow took part in the 2003 World Cup in St. Moritz, and at the 2006 Olympics in Turin. At the 2007 World Championships in Åre she placed ninth in Super -G.

In May 2008, Ludlow announced her withdrawal from ski racing.
