Linc Energy

Linc Energy Limited is an Australian energy company specializing in the production of synthetic gasoline from coal. Linc Energy is engaged in the development and commercialization of underground coal gasification technology. The Group produces gas in a gas liquefaction technology for the production of synthetic gasoline; but also planning the use of gas for generation of electrical energy.

History

Linc Energy Limited on 29 October 1996 as Linc Energy NL founded and named on 17 November 2000 Linc Energy Ltd to. Linc Energy was listed on the Australian Securities Exchange ( ASX) on 10 May 2006 and later on the OTCQX trading platform for commodities in New York in December 2007.

Linc began with the development of a demonstration plant in Chinchilla in July 1999, produced first gas in the same year, but it still took more than two years to control the entire process. First, Linc Energy used for underground coal gasification technology of Ergo Exergy Technologies Inc. of Canada. However, the use with Ergo Exergy was temporary. After this period, a cooperation agreement on the use of other technology, as well as consultation and engineering services with the Skochinsky Institute of Mining and the Scientific- Technical Mining Association of Russia was completed.

In 2005, Linc Energy has signed a memorandum with the company Syntroleum, which secured her the use of a license Syntroleum GTL technology. Linc Energy began in November 2007 with the construction of a gas liquefaction plant, the Chinchilla facility. The factory complex was completed in August 2008 and delivered the first crude oil in October 2008, the pilot plant was officially inaugurated on 22 April 2009 and the fourth generator of the plant was completed in February 2010.

On 20 December 2007 Linc Energy took over 60 % and later 74% of Uzbek society Yerostigaz, the coal gas liquefaction plant operates. On October 15, 2008 Country of South Australian oil and gas company Sapex Limited was acquired. This acquisition secured Linc Energy access to Arckaringa, St- Vincent-and Wallowaybecken, in which there are coal and oil deposits. On 3 December 2008 was ' Linc Energy announced that it intends to land the North American Powder River Basin to take over the company from Casper Wyoming, the gas technology applies. The first country in Wyoming was handed over in May 2009 and additional land was acquired in the states of Montana and North Dakota in the same year. In March 2010, Linc Energy acquired land rights in the Cook Inlet Basin in Alaska. Project implementation and approval for gas liquefaction plants in North America have been provided.

In November 2007, Linc Energy entered into a cooperation with the BioCleanCoal Pty Ltd.. from to transform a joint venture for the development of a prototype, which should be as a bioreactor capable of carbon dioxide through photosynthesis into oxygen and solid biomass.

Business

The headquarters of Linc Energy is located in Brisbane Australia. The company also has business interests in Queensland, South Australia, North America, Vietnam and Uzbekistan. Owned by the Group, the Chinchilla demonstration facility is located 300 km west of Brisbane, which produces a world first gas liquefaction plant synthesis gas by underground gas liquefaction plants. This plant has four natural gas generators, a gas liquefaction pilot plant, a laboratory and a wastewater treatment plant.

Linc Energy plans to release a gas liquefaction plant in Arckaringabecken in South Australia, the 20,000 barrels per day ( 3,200 m³ per day) produces. This system is developed by Aker Solutions and to produce synthesis gas from coal gasification process. BP has an option to purchase 70% of the amount produced diesel fuel this plant.

In the mining area Yining in China Linc Energy plans to develop a coal gasification project in cooperation with Xinwen Mining Group. Together with Vinacomin, Song Hong Energy and Marubeni prepares Linc Energy remains a Gasverflüssigsprojekt in the Red River Delta (UCG Tonkin ) in the Province Hưng Yên in Vietnam.

Linc Energy intends to become the owner of the site of Emerald, Galilee and Pentland coal mine in Queensland, Australia, who want to sell it.

Yerostigaz

Yerostigaz is a subsidiary of Linc Energy in Angren in Uzbekistan. The company was founded in 1961 and has since 1964 continuously in the underground gas liquefaction. It is a part of the former Soviet society for coal gasification, the practitioner finished the first company to commercially worldwide this technology. Linc Energy has developed an exchange program with the experts of Yerostigaz their experience and knowledge will bring in the Australian Chinchilla project. Yerostigaz produces about one million cubic meters of synthesis gas per day.
