Linthe

Linthe is a municipality in the district of Potsdam- agent Mark Brandenburg. The community belongs to the Office Brück headquartered in the city bridge.

Geography

Linthe between flaming and Baruth glacial valley in an area with many sources.

Community structure

The municipality is divided into two parts. Between the villages of Linthe in the west and Alt Bork (up to October 1937 Wendish Bork ) and German Bork is the district Schlalach, in the municipality of Mill Stream.

History

1342, the village was first mentioned.

Incorporations

Alt Bork Bork and German were incorporated on 1 July 2002.

Economy and infrastructure

Opened in 2002, the ADAC Driving Safety Center in Linthe one. With 25 hectares of the total area, 6 km distance and 14 speed modules, the driving safety center is the largest and most modern facility of its kind in Europe.

Traffic

By Linthe the Federal Highway leads 9 (Berlin- Munich ) with the bridge port in the municipality.

Culture and sights

In the list of monuments in Linthe and in the list of ground monuments in Linthe are registered in the list of monuments of the country Brandenburg cultural monuments. Near the village church in 2009 numerous archaeological finds were uncovered in a surface excavation for the construction of a fire station.
