Lipno nad Vltavou

Lipno nad Vltavou ( German lips ) is a municipality om Okres Český Krumlov in the Czech Republic. It belongs to the region of South Bohemia,.

The municipality is situated on the bank of built 1952-1959 Lipnostausees, which dammed the river Vltava, near the Natural Park Vyšebrodsko and nature reserves Čertova stěna ( Devil's Wall ) and Luč ( Kienberg, 933 m). Here are also a granite massif and the remains of a primeval forest.
