Lipová (Zlín District)

Lipová ( German Lippowa, 1939-1945 Linden ) is a municipality in the Czech Republic. It is located four kilometers north of Slavičín and belongs to Okres Zlín.

Geography

Lipová located in the north of the White Carpathians in the area of the nature reserve PLA White Carpathians. The village is located on the right side of the creek Lipovský creek on the lower reaches of the creek Podevsový. North-east rises the Haluzický Kopec (518 m), Hrbov (441 m) and Hradisko ( 474 m ) east of the Nový háj (472 m), in the south of Nad Loštím ( 469 m ) and north-west the Uhliska ( 529 m) and of cough (500 m). Southeast of the village there is a military area.

History

The first written mention of the episcopal fief Lipowa took place in 1362 as a possession of the sons of the late Vladiken Pesek of Veletiny. After January Jičínský was beleht of Cimburg 1472 with Skrzyczne he closed the property to his reign Brumov. In 1570, the seigniory Lipowy Slavičín was slammed. 1573 Lipowau place was called. During the Thirty Years' War, the village was deserted part. 1663 devastated the Turks Lippowa. During the uprising of Francis II Rákóczi, the village was burned in 1709 by the kuruc. The oldest town seal comes from in 1782. Lippowa in 1843 consisted of 73 houses and 364 inhabitants had. Southeast of the village was the stately Grange Hluboké. Residents living from livestock and fruit production. A majority of the men earned some extra money as a clipper. Until the mid-19th century Lippowa remained the feud Slavičín submissive.

After the abolition of patrimonial Lipová / Lippowa formed in 1850 a municipality in the district team Uherský Brod and the jurisdiction Valašské Klobouky. After the dissolution of the district headquarters Lipová 1855 assigned to the district office Valašské Klobouky. As of 1868, the village belonged to the reconstructed District Commission Uherský Brod and two years later also to the local judicial district. In 1905 Lipová was assigned to the judicial district Bojkovice. The tradition of Beschneiderei became extinct 1948. 1949 both the Okres Uherský Brod and the district court Bojkovice was repealed and assigned the community the Okres Valašské Klobouky. This lasted until the end of 1960, then became part of the Lipová Okres Gottwaldov. With the beginning of 1980 Lipová was incorporated along with Nevšová, Rudimov and Petrůvka after Slavičín. At the beginning of 1992, Lipová broke again from Slavičín and formed its own community.
