List of cities and towns in Angola

This is a list of cities in Angola.

By far the largest agglomeration in Angola is Luanda with a population of 3,661,845 (as of 1 January 2005). This means that around 30 percent of the country's population is concentrated in the capital region.

In the following table are the cities of over 10,000 inhabitants, the results of the Census ( Census ) of 15 December 1970, a calculation for January 1, 2005, and the province to which the city is listed. The population figures refer to the actual city without suburban belt.

The numbers are 2012 overtaken all. Of the meantime ( estimated ) 19 million inhabitants of Angola live slightly more than half in cities. In Luanda, it is nowadays of about 5 million inhabitants. Exact numbers will only come back when the scheduled 2013 census is carried out.
