This is a list of cities in Djibouti.

By far the largest agglomeration in the Republic of Djibouti is Djibouti City, with a population of 689 743 (as of 1 January 2005). This means that around 90 percent of people in the country live in the capital region.

The following table contains the towns of over 1,000 inhabitants, to which the city belongs to its name in German transcription and in Arabic as well as the higher-level administrative unit ( region). Djibouti city has a special status and not belong to any region. The population figures are calculated for January 1, 2005 and relate to the actual city without suburban belt.
