List of physical quantities
This list shows all the important physical quantities - the SI base quantities and derived variables - the art and science sorted by fields of knowledge on.
The symbols used are based largely on the internationally accepted DIN 1304 or above predetermined for German-speaking world standards. Some physical quantities several symbols are common, since this variable is used in different application areas.
For correct use and for the notation of quantities, units and values , there are clear standards.
Physical constants are not listed in the table below.
