Live in Vienna ( Vienna is the English name of Austria's capital Vienna) is the first video and live album by the German rock band Böhse Onkelz. It was released on 16 March 1992 on the label Bellaphon Records on CD, LP, MC, and VHS version. On 28 March 2008 the album was released on DVD.

Content

The album features the live recording of the concert the band of 13 December 1991 in Vienna. Here, the band played 30 songs from all of their studio albums released to that time, of which, however, only 18 or 19 are included on the album. The complete appearance, however, is only available as a bootleg. The video version contains the songs of four interviews, but not the song heels and suspenders.

Cover design

The album cover shows the band at their gig on stage in dark blue spotlight. In the foreground a black crosshair is shown with a red dot in the middle. Top left of the image are the logo and the title böhse onkelz live in vienna in white. Additional amenities at the bottom of the white lettering 70 minutes live power. In the VHS and DVD version instead, 80 minutes live power is to read. In addition, the DVD version shows a smaller image section of the CD cover and contains in addition to the logo, the recording year 1991.

Chart Awards and achievements

The video album rose to the time of appearance only in Austria in the charts there and took 38th place, where it could stay two weeks in the Top 100, it was the first chart position for the band at all. Only after re-release on DVD in 2008 reached Live in Vienna in Germany for a week rank 61 of the charts.

The video for the album in 2003 to more than 50,000 units sold with a platinum record in Germany excellent, while the CD version received a gold record in the same year for over 250,000 copies sold.
