Liverpool Township is one of 18 townships of Columbiana County in the U.S. state of Ohio. According to the census in 2000 4374 inhabitants were registered here.
Geography
Liverpool Township is located in the extreme southeast of the Columbiana County in northeastern Ohio, is bounded on the southeast by the Ohio River and borders clockwise to the townships: St. Clair Township, Greene Township, Beaver County, Pennsylvania, at the Hancock County, West Virginia, Yellow Creek Township and Madison Township.
Management
The township is administered by a Board of Trustees consisting of three elected members. Two persons are elected in the year after the presidential election and one each in the previous year. The term of office lasts four years, beginning on 1 January. There is also a Township Clerk ( responsible for finance and budget), which is also elected in the year before the presidential election to a four -year term. Whose term of office begins on April 1.
