Llano is a city in and the county seat of Llano County, Texas. 2000, the city with an area of ​​12.173 km ² had 3,325 inhabitants.

The city was established as a seat of the county of the same name shortly after the formation of the same on 24 February 1854. City like county are named for the Llano River, on whose banks the city is also located. Until the 1870s, the Llano was little more than a trading outpost with coaching.
