So is now in the west of the municipality of 6.22 square kilometers Seelhauser lake. The flooding was accelerated by the flood of the century, in August 2002, because of the well dike between Löbnitz and Pouch broke and the dump flood brought the mining Goitzsche to overflowing.

The state road 12 from Bad Duben to the border with Pouch performs Löbnitz. South of the village, the B runs 183a. In the district Roitzschjora is a designated as a commercial airfield airfield.

By 1964, still existed a ferry crossing over the trough after Rösa.
