Lomonosov Gold Medal
The Lomonosov Gold Medal (Russian Большая золотая медаль РАН имени М.В.Ломоносова ) is named after the founder of Russian science Mikhail Vasilyevich Lomonosov. Since 1959 she is usually awarded annually by the Russian Academy of Sciences to a Russian and a foreign scientists for outstanding achievements in science.
