LubÄ›

Lubě ( German Lubie ) is a municipality in the Czech Republic. It is located nine kilometers north-east of Tišnov and belongs to Okres Blansko.

Geography

Lubě located in the Bosko brázda between the Drahany country and the Bohemian- Moravian Highlands. The village is situated at the southern foot of the hill Jedůvka ( 483 m) in the valley of the river Lubě at the confluence of the streams and creek Záhorský Johanka. Northeast rises rises the Skalky (452 m) and in the southwest the Střela (490 m).

Neighboring towns are Brťov - Jeneč and Býkovice in the north, Žernovník in the northeast, Malá Lhota in the east, and Závist Milonice the southeast, Újezd ​​The Black Hory in the south, Hluboké Dvory and Unín the southwest, Rohozec in the west and Bukovice in the northwest.

History

The first written mention of the village was carried out in 1360 as part of the rule Bukovice. 1385 sold Pesek of Bukovice the place to Jezek of Krizanek. This sold the property three years later to Jan of Braslavec. Part of the village had at the beginning of the 15th century by Blazej Domabořice, he sold it in 1415 to Jan Kaspar of Bukovice. At the end of the 15th century the village belonged to the lords of Bukovice related Vladiken of Šerkovice. Following a successful beginning of the 16th century division of the village Lubě belonged from 1549 largely to the reign Cerna Hora, a minor proportions were submissive by Lomnitz and Šerkovice. The existing three subjects Lomnitzer proportion had in 1548 the monastery Porta Coeli given Amand Count Serényi. At the beginning of the 17th century was the village of 17 houses. After the Thirty Years' War, six houses were deserted. The village was gepfarrt after Újezd ​​since the 19th century. 1824 was a water mill in the southern part of the village. 1843 lived 131 people in 23 houses of Lubě.

After the abolition of patrimonial Lubě formed in 1850 a part of the community Hluboky in the District Commission Boskovice. Until 1879 Újezd ​​was also school location, after which the children were retrained to Malá Lhota. Since 1880 Lubě forms its own community. In 1900, the city had grown to 28 stores and had 157 inhabitants. On 12 July 1922, the village was hit by a flood disaster. As a result of clouds break swelled to the Lubě to a torrent and uprooted trees, which prevented the outflow of water. Thus, the river reached a water level of two meters above the normal level and flooded parts of the village. At the river south of the village rubble banks can still be seen with outstanding rootstocks, which originated in the flood. 1923 began teaching at the village school. In 1934 work began on the regulation Lubě. 1943 founded the volunteer fire department. Since 1948, the community is part of the Okres Blansko. The school was closed in 1963.
