Luciano Zauri

Luciano Zauri ( born January 20, 1978 in Pescina (AQ ), Italy) is an Italian football player who since 2013 in Pescara Calcio in Serie B.

Club career

Luciano Zauri debut for Atalanta in May 1997 in the Italian Serie A. For the next season he was awarded for one year to the second division side AC Chievo Verona and then returned back to Bergamo, which descended in this season from Serie A. Zauri already developed with 20 years for regular at Bergamo and was able to celebrate the re- promotion to Serie A in the 1999/2000 season. He was true to his youth club to the 2002/03 season loyal, when the club relegated from Serie A again. National

Zauri made ​​his debut in the senior national team of Italy on 5 September 2001 in a friendly match against Morocco. Trivia

In January 2013 Zauri came into the focus of the media, as a seven- year-old girl he saved her life during a restaurant visit to Rome. The girl had fallen after using the toilet into an only temporarily covered, four -meter-deep water bay. Zauri organized a rope and pulled the child out of the bay. Moreover, it turned out that this acted to the granddaughter of the famous Polish football player Zbigniew Boniek.
