Ludovico Avio

Ludovico Héctor Avio ( born May 15, 1932 in Pigüé, Argentina, † June 23, 1996 in Mar del Plata, Argentina) was an Argentine football player. With the national team of his native country, he participated in the Football World Cup 1958.

Career

Club career

Ludovico Avio began his footballing career in 1952 at Argentino de Quilmes in the same city in the province of Buenos Aires. After three years at the club he joined in 1954 Quilmes AC, the bigger club from Quilmes, the commonly counts as one of the oldest football clubs in Argentina. At Quilmes AC Avio remained another year, before moving to CA Velez Sarsfield in Buenos Aires. In the club he played until the year 1961, but could not win a national title. After 74 games and 22 goals for Velez Sarsfield Ludovico went Avio 1961 CA All Boys, also from Buenos Aires. Since Avio played as well as in all his previous stations rather at smaller clubs, he also succeeded in the jersey of the All Boys no national champion title or any other title. After his time with the All Boys, where he played only one year he acted for a short time at the club unterklassigen CA San Lorenzo Mar del Plata, before in 1967 he ended his active career at the age of 36 years. National

Ludovico Avio was used in the Argentine national football team total of six times.
