The Luino station in the same city is the frontier station between the Italian (RFI ) and the Swiss railway network ( SBB).

The station is located at 1882 went into operation in railway Oleggio - Pino, which runs north through Cadenazzo as a feeder of the Gotthard Railway. Curiously, the train station is about 16 km south of the border because in between no place for a station site could be found.

Luino also has a small railway museum, the Museo del Verbano ferroviario, which is supervised by the club Verbano Express. The station building is a collection of railway technical things in the former engine shed several locomotives and cars, are ( including the 50 3673 the DR). Opening times are every second and fourth Saturday of the month from 14.30 bis 17.30 clock clock.
