LuÃz Antônio dos Santos
Luiz Antônio dos Santos ( born April 6, 1964 in Volta Redonda ) is a former Brazilian marathon runner.
In 1993 and 1994 he won the Chicago Marathon. At the World Athletics Championships in 1995 he won the bronze medal behind Martín Fiz (ESP) and Dionicio Cerón ( MEX). In the same year he won the Fukuoka Marathon with the Brazilian record of 2:09:30. In the 1996 Olympics he finished in tenth place.
His personal best of 2:08:55 set in 1997 as a sixth of the Rotterdam Marathon on.
