Lukas Lang

Lukas Lang ( born July 27, 1986 in Brno, Czechoslovakia ) is a German professional ice hockey goaltender of Czech descent who stands since the 2013/14 season with the Krefeld Penguins under contract. Luke is the son of Karel Lang, who was also active in the Krefeld Penguins as a goalkeeper in the DEL.

Career

Lukas Lang began in 1993, the hockey games with six years in Stuttgart. From 2001 to 2003 the keeper was in the junior squad of the EHC 80 Nürnberg. In the 2003/2004 season long finally celebrated his DEL debut for the polar bears Berlin, to which he had moved in the summer of 2003. For DEL Season 2004/05 Goalie returned to Nuremberg, where he was active as a substitute keeper at the Nuremberg Ice Tigers. In his first year after returning to Franconia Lang, who by teammates nicknamed " Luky " received, thanks to a mining license also at second division EV Weiden played. Also in the 2005/2006 season he was careful with a mining license, the gate of the "Blue Devils " in the big leagues. In the 2006/2007 season he plays by the production license for the polar bears of Regensburg in the 2nd Bundesliga.

For the season 2007/ 08 Lukas Lang signed a year contract with EV Duisburg and left following the insolvency of Duisburg on 6 April 2009 the club when he was obliged by the Adler Mannheim.

During the season 2011/12 he stood at the Grizzly Adams Wolfsburg under contract before moving in June 2012 to SERC Wild Wings in the 2nd Bundesliga.

In May 2013, the Krefeld Penguins announced the signing of Lukas Lang.
