Lusapho April
Lusapho April ( born May 24, 1982 in Uitenhage ) is a South African marathon runner.
In the road race World Championships he came in 2006 in Debrecen rank 18 and 2007 in Udine on 34th In the World Cross Country Championships in Mombasa in 2007, he finished 42nd.
In 2009 he made his debut on the 42,195 - km - distance eighth in the Hannover Marathon and seventh in the championship in South Africa Half Marathon. In 2010 he won the half-marathon competition of the Two Oceans Marathon. A week after he was three and a half minutes to have remained under his fastest time in fifth place in Hannover, he set a national record over this distance as tenth in the 25 km from Berlin. In the national half marathon championship he finished third.
In 2011 he was South African marathon champion, he defended his title at the Two Oceans Marathon, winning in his third start in Hannover. At the Frankfurt Marathon in 2011 and the Vienna City Marathon 2012, he did not progress beyond the 20th Place.
In 2013 he won the Hannover Marathon with a new course record time of 2:08:32 h
