Lyn Fotball

SFK Lyn Oslo ( norweg. lyn [ ly ː n] = "lightning" ) is a Norwegian ski and football club. The club was founded on March 3, 1896.

Football Division

Home of the football department, FK Lyn Oslo, was the Ullevaal Stadium (capacity 25,000 ), the Lyn shares with his local rivals Vålerenga IF. Lyn Oslo so far won two league titles and reached eight Cup victories. Since the 2000 season Lyn played back in the League Tippeligaen, the highest Norwegian league. Ski section

The ski section of Lyn Oslo is one of the many great of the country in which cross-country skiing is the national sport. Work here as Kristin Lee coach Mikkelsen, Ingvild and Margrethe Solbakken Haugen. Famous athletes who started for the club and start are the Olympic champion in ski jumping in 1928, Alf Andersen, cross country skiing Olympic champion from 1976, Ivar Formo, Ine Wigernaes, Espen Andersen, Geir Andersen, Ingvild Engeland and as the current flagship of the association Ella Gjømle.
