Macro Recordings

Macro is a 2007 in Berlin based label for electronic and experimental music.

History

Founder and owner of the label are the DJ and producer Stefan Goldmann and Finn Johannsen music journalist and DJ. Macro had until 2011 a "Label Residency " in the Panorama Bar Berlin clubs Berghain and was with several artists on showcases, among other things presented in London, Paris, Washington DC, Vienna and Tokyo.

Publications

The label released alongside the music Goldmanns among other recordings of Elektro Guzzi, Peter Kruder, the Underground Resistance member Santiago Salazar and Raudive on CD and vinyl. In addition, a series of publications of historical works, among other things, a lost album of the Hi- NRG producer Patrick Cowley. Remixes by Ricardo Villalobos appeared, Oni Ayhun, Pépé Bradock, Morgan Geist, KiNK and others.
