Magnus Gustafsson

Magnus Gustafsson ( born January 3, 1967 in Lund ) is a former Swedish tennis player.

Career

He won in his career 14 singles titles, including four times the Swedish Open in Båstad. He was active from 1985 to 2001 as a tennis pro.

His highest world ranking was No. 9 in 1991. 1994 he reached the Australian Open quarter-finals, this was his best performance in a Grand Slam tournament. In 1998 he won with the Swedish team to the Davis Cup.

Magnus Gustafsson was known for his consistency. Between November 9, 1987 and 22 April 2002, he was only eight months not in the top 100 of the ATP rankings ( February-October 1995).

Gustafsson played for several clubs in the German Bundesliga tennis, so for Bamberg and food.
