Magnus Troest

Magnus Troest ( born June 5, 1987 in Copenhagen ) is a Danish football player. He currently plays for SS Virtus Lanciano in Serie B.
He was "U- 19 players of Denmark " voted the best of 2005. His older brother Jonas Troest is also football player and is currently available in Denmark at Odense BK under contract.

Club career
Youth career
Troest began his career at the age of six years in the youth of the small Tårnby Bold club, before moving to the two traditional training clubs Kjøbenhavns Bold and B.93 club from his hometown Copenhagen. During his adolescence in B.93 he became the U-16 junior national team of his country and was soon as great defensive talent.
In 2003, he was then given at the age of sixteen years an offer from the English Premier League club Aston Villa, which he accepted. As a result, he played just two years in the youth of the Villans, but without being considered for the first team.
2005 therefore followed on his instigation the return home to FC Midtjylland in the SAS Liga.
FC Midtjylland
With a clear goal in professional football to gain a foothold, he then went into his first season at Midtjylland, but spent the first third of the season on the bench or in the youth section of the club. It was only on 26 October 2005, he celebrated in the home match against FC Nordsjælland for the last ten minutes of the game made its debut in the A- team. Contrary to expectations, however, the team played again for the title with prolonged and the performance of the previous year but with the times runner-up title. The showpiece of the team made the newly formed defense, led by a formidable Troest which allowed the fewest goals in the league. The disposal of Mikkelsen is compensated with Simon Kjær, a talent of his own youth, the excellently harmonized together with Troest. With Jessen and Kolja Afriyie on the winger made to this the youngest defense in the league.
After the outstanding season Troest could choose between offerings of various international associations and was no longer tenable for Midtjylland. Based on the best use of opportunities, he decided in order for a change to Serie B for FC Parma.
FC Parma
In the eighteen years later excellence just relegated Parma, he came up to the seventeenth round not on the role of the Joker out before him with a header the decisive goal succeeded to 1-0 win over U.S. Avellino on his debut in the star formation. As a result he formed with Alessandro Lucarelli one of the strongest central defensive duos in the league, which had large share of the chances of promotion of the club. After the outstanding debut season in Italy Troest could not be held in order for the cash-strapped Parma and moved to Genoa. Genoa had already since joining Parma half of the player's transfer rights and acquired him after he had convinced completely.
Recreativo Huelva
Due to the large squad density of defenders and the associated low chances of operating time, the club tried to sell it profitably in a row. However, after an intended transfer to FC Fulham failed, you gave him then with option to purchase at the similar Parma fresh just descended from the excellence Recreativo Huelva. Atalanta Bergamo
In Genoa coach Gian Piero Gasperini had after the signing of four new defenders still no place in the senior squad the team, after which Troest was released again on loan to Serie A relegated Atalanta Bergamo. He is the third time in a row in a squad Erstligaabsteigers.
National
From 2002 to 2008 Troest went through all the junior national teams of Denmark, but was able to qualify with any team for a great tournament.
On 10 October 2006 he made his debut in a 2-1 friendly win against the Netherlands at the side of his brother Jonas in the Danish U -21 national team. His debut was also the last game of his older brother for the U -21 selection. In the U -21 captain, he was second behind Michael Jakobsen, however, led the team due to his absence only once on the field.
In total, he completed 41 youth caps for Denmark, where he was able to achieve five goals.
