Manfredo Manfredi

Manfredo Manfredi ( born April 16, 1859 in Piacenza, † October 13, 1927 ) was an Italian architect.

Life

From 1880 he studied at the Academy of Fine Arts Accademia di Belle Arti di Roma, Rome. In 1884, he won second place in the architectural competition for the Vittoriano. After the winner of the competition, Giuseppe Sacconi, had died in 1905, Manfredi was tasked with the completion of the monument.

Manfredi was also one of the founders of the Scuola Superiore di Architettura, which he served as director from 1908 to 1920. He was also an elected member of the Parliament of 1909 until 1919.
