Manuel Nájera

Manuel Nájera ( born December 20 1952) is a former Mexican football player who acted in defense.

His career probably started when CD Zacatepec, in which he allegedly confessed, according to a source from 1971 to 1973 under contract, while the RSSSF a membership to the club Jalisco attributed to him against Costa Rica ( 3-1 ) on his international debut on 12 October 1972. He then played for Puebla FC, ​​before joining Universidad de Guadalajara in 1975. In its club history, he was the only active Mexican national team. After four years he moved for the season 1979/80 for local rivals Jalisco, before it pulled him in 1980 in the north of the country, where he spent the last three years of his professional career at CF Monterrey.

Height of his national team career was 1977, when he played eight games over the full distance of 90 minutes each.
