Marcel Heller ( born February 12, 1986 in Frechen ) is a German football player.
Career
Clubs
Heller played for twelve years 1.FC Quad -Ichendorf before he moved to Oberliga Bonner SC 2004. About the second team of Alemannia Aachen and Sportfreunde Siegen finally Heller arrived in the winter break of the 2006/07 season for Eintracht Frankfurt. Already on the opening day of the season he came to his Bundesliga debut when he was in off the bench after 68 minutes for Ioannis Amanatidis in the 1:3 home defeat of the " Rieder forests " against FC Schalke 04. His first Bundesliga game 90 minutes played Heller on 3 February 2007 ( 20th Round ) a 0-0 draw at home against 1 FSV Mainz 05 with his first Bundesliga goal 14 April 2007 ( 29th Round ) he sealed simultaneously the 4-2 away victory over Arminia Bielefeld. Overall, Heller ran in his first season for Eintracht Frankfurt eleven times in the Bundesliga (one goal ) and once in the DFB Cup on. In the following season, he came only to four BL- inserts ( one goal) and often played for the second team in the Oberliga Hessen.
In order to gain match practice, Heller was therefore borrowed from the 2008/09 season for relegated MSV Duisburg in the 2nd Bundesliga. After a temporary suspension by coach Peter Neururer Heller came at the end of the season on 18 second-division inserts ( one goal). Even after his return to Frankfurt in the summer of 2009, he failed to establish himself as a regular player. After Heller had only 19 BL games contested in two years ( without scoring ), he joined the 2011/12 season to the second-division Dynamo Dresden Movers. For the season 2012/13 he joined the second division relegated Alemannia Aachen, where he received a two-year contract. However, this contract lost in the summer of 2013 through the descent and the insolvency of Alemannia Aachen its validity. Heller then moved within the League and signed a contract until 2014 at SV Darmstadt 98
National
His debut in the national team gave Heller on 14 November 2006 in Celle in a 4-1 victory for the U-20 national team on the selection of Austria. On April 25, 2007, he managed a 4-0 home win over the Swiss selection his first international goal. For the U- 21 team Heller made his debut on 6 February 2007 in Cumbernauld, in a 1-0 victory over Scotland. With his first goal for the U- 21 team at home against the Czech Republic, he was responsible for the 1-0 final score.
