Benjamin Gorka (2011)

Benjamin Gorka ( born April 15, 1984 in Mannheim ) is a German footballer who plays in the position of central defender. Since the summer of 2012, the 1.95 m wide left-footed stands at third division SV Darmstadt 98 under contract.

Career

In youth Gorka played for Ludwigshafen SC, SV Waldhof Mannheim and TSG 1899 Hoffenheim. He then worked for various unterklassige teams before joining the 2009/10 season for SV Wacker Burghausen in the third league. His professional debut came on 25 July 2009, when he stood in a 4-3 home victory against the second team of Borussia Dortmund in the starting lineup on opening day. In 31 league games, he scored four goals. At the end of the season he signed a valid starting from the season 2010/11 two- year contract with newly promoted second division VfL Osnabrück. But the following season he completed only five games for the club.

After the descent of Lower Saxony, he joined in the summer of 2011, the third division VfR Aalen and there wrote a two-year contract. When VfR he completed the first two league games of the season 2011/12. From the third to the ninth Matchday he was still four times a substitute, after he was no longer in the squad. On 13 October 2011, the VfR Aalen announced that the contract was terminated by mutual consent.

In summer 2012, Gorka moved to third division side SV Darmstadt 98
