Julian Ratei ( born July 12, 1988 in Bayreuth ) is a German football player. In the season 2012/13 the defender is in the squad of SV Darmstadt 98

Youth

After Ratei had begun playing sports Bayreuth Ring with football games, he later joined the greatest football club of his hometown, the SpVgg Bayreuth. In the summer of 2003, he went from the north of the Free State of Bavaria in the Bavarian capital Munich in the south. There he joined the youth academy of TSV 1860 Munich. In the following years he went through the youth teams. Also at the junior national teams, he was invited several times during this period. He made his debut on 14 October 2003 against the U16 Turkey. Six times he played for the German U -16, twice for the U- 17 for the U-18, he played two games and in the U-19 selection, he came in the fall of 2006, three times for use. As in the club, he also played in the national team often together with Alexander Eberlein in defense. In 2007 he was on the verge of being appointed coach Marco Kurz in the second division squad, but a torn ACL at first prevented his rise in professional football.

TSV 1860 München

His first try for the second team of Sechzger in the Regionalliga Süd had Ratei on 25 August 2006 when he featured against the second representation of the 1st FC Kaiserslautern. Although he nominally belonged to the A- youth followed this season five appearances in the U23 Munich lions. After the torn ACL he fell almost a year out, only for the season 2008/ 09 he was reinstated regularly. Also in the following season he was, he was, used in almost all games in the levy of the little lion but only twelve times. In the first half of the season 2010/11 he played for the U23 except for a brief injury break all games, most of them as captain of the team.

During the winter break coach Reiner Maurer brought him into the extended second-division squad. In the game of Sechzger in Osnabrück 21 January 2011 Ratei was the first time in the first team squad. By the end of the season he was still three times in the second division squad, but he was not used. Four times he played for the first team in Test matches. For the second team Ratei had accrued a total of 59 times in the league.

SV Darmstadt 98

In summer 2011, he moved to the right in the 3rd League Ascended SV Darmstadt 98, where he came in the season opener of the lilies on 23 July, his first appearance in professional football when he stood against VfL Osnabrück in the grid. While Ratei in the first round in 2011/12 found a regular place in the Darmstadt defense, he had an injury cut consumption in the second half.
