Elton da Costa

Elton da Costa Junior (born 15 December 1979 Condor ) is a Brazilian footballer who is 98 has a contract with SV Darmstadt.

Career

His home club is the EC Internacional from Santa Maria in southern Brazil.

In 1998, Elton da Costa to Germany. First, he played one year in FSV Frankfurt and then three years at SV Darmstadt 98, respectively, in the Regionalliga Süd. His first professional stop was the SpVgg Unterhaching, in which he collected from 2003 to 2005 second division experience ( three goals in 38 games ).

In the summer of 2005 he moved to FC Augsburg in the Regionalliga. There he had his biggest success of his career when he succeeded with the team promotion to the 2nd Bundesliga. He was then one of the few regulars who were able to maintain their regular place in the 2nd Bundesliga. He wore the jersey number 10 and was a playmaker an important part of the team of coach Jos Luhukay. In the season 2006/ 07 he came to 23 league operations, scoring five goals. He also completed the season a game in the DFB Cup and scored a goal.

For the 2010/11 season changed da Costa to Kickers Offenbach, where he signed a two-year contract. With the OFC but he missed 2011 ( 7th place) and 2012 ( 8th place) the desires of the club promotion to the 2nd Bundesliga. At the end of the season the expiring contract on the part of the OFC was not renewed.

For the 2012/13 season is da Costa joined again at the SV Darmstadt 98, in which he signed a one year contract until 30 June 2013.
