Josip Landeka

Josip Landeka ( born April 28, 1987 in Offenbach) is a Croatian football player.

Career

In youth Landeka for Kickers Obertshausen, the SG Rose height and 1 FSV Mainz played 05 In summer 2006, the midfielder was transferred to the Second Team of Mainz. For the season 2008/ 09 he moved to the Stuttgarter Kickers in the third league. His professional debut came on 26 July 2008 with the 0:2 defeat the Kickers against Wacker Burghausen, when he came on in the 46th minute. For the season 2009/10 he moved to second division relegated Wehen. In the season 2010/11 Landeka played for FC Carl Zeiss Jena, with which he descended in 2012 from the 3rd league. During the summer break in 2012 Landeka signed a two -year contract with FC Chemnitz. During the winter break of the season 2013/14 he moved to SV Darmstadt 98 and signed a contract until the end of the season there.

Family

Josip Landekas cousin Iva Landeka also plays in Jena for the FF USV Jena in the Bundesliga, whose brother Davor Landeka is also a professional footballer and currently plays in Switzerland.

Others

Since 2013, Josip Landeka committed to Show Racism the Red Card Germany. In May he took part in a workshop of the education initiative and told the pupils about his own experiences with racism and discrimination.
