Marcel Lenz ( 2013)

Marcel Lenz (born 3 May 1991 in Duisburg ) is a German football player. The goalkeeper plays since summer 2010 for MSV Duisburg.

Career

In the club

Lenz played in his youth for VfL Duisburg-Süd and the GSG Duisburg, before he went to MSV Duisburg. In 2000 he moved to FC Schalke 04 2010 Lenz returned back to MSV. By 2013, it was used only in the second team. After the descent of the MSV in the 3rd league, he was goalkeeper of professionals. Matchday 5 of the 2013/14 season Lenz denied in Erfurt his first professional game after goalkeeper Michael Ratajczak had suffered an adductor injury.

National

Lenz came for the DFB in two games of the German U -19 youth team to use. He made his debut on 7 February 2010 with a 2-0 victory against Poland in La Manga, where it was used the full time. In the match against Portugal on February 9, 2010 which - also in La Manga - was lost with 1:3, he came on in the 25th minute for Bussmann. It remained until now his last international assignment.

He also played three times in the deurtschen U-16 selection, once in German German U -17 selection and four times in the German U-18 Junior National Team.
