Markus Bollmann

Markus Bollmann ( born January 6, 1981 in Beckum ) is a German football player.

Career

The central defender Bollmann came to season 2000 /01 of the offspring SpVg Beckum at that Oberliga side SC Paderborn 07, 2001 Bollmann rose to the SCP in the Regionalliga Nord and 2005 in the Second Bundesliga. During the summer break in 2006 Bollmann moved to Bundesliga side Arminia Bielefeld. There he came to the adaptation period in the second half of the season 2006/ 07 regularly used, so that he extended his contract with the Arminia, both applied to the first and second Bundesliga until 2012 in May 2009. After the descent of Arminia in the 3rd League Bollmann moved to the former league rivals MSV Duisburg. There followed a year of ups and downs, in which he came to only eleven games. After a lengthy groin injury, his comeback was delayed by a periostitis. In preparation for the 2012/13 season the 31- year-old suffered a broken metatarsal in training, which he again turned out an entire season so far.

Private

Markus Bollmann is married. In early 2008 came the common son. His brother Maik Bollmann is active in the higher-class amateur football.
