Christian Eichner (* November 24, 1982 in Sinsheim ) is a German football player.

Career

The defender played to the C- Jugend FVS Sulzfeld, and then moved to Karlsruher SC. There he went through the youth teams, until he aufrückte in the professional squad in 2005.

In the season 2005/ 06 Eichner was in all the 34 second division games in the starting lineup and missed just 40 minutes of play his first professional season. In the following season Eichner was an equally important part of the team and went to the end of the season in the Bundesliga. His first competitive goal for the KSC scored Eichner in September 2007 during the Bundesliga match in Wolfsburg. Private

Since 2005, Eichner studied mathematics, ethics and geography at the Karlsruhe University of Education, graduated from basic studies and completed all the necessary internships. Through the football career he could not pursue this. For some time Eichner completed a correspondence course in Sports Management.

Eichner is married since 2011 with a teacher and father of a daughter.
