Marcia Cross

Marcia Anne Cross ( born March 25, 1962 in Marlborough, Massachusetts ) is an American actress.

Life and career

Cross that made their master's degree in psychology at Antioch University in Los Angeles, is best known as an actress in U.S. TV series. She starred in numerous series such as Edge of Night, Cheers, Everwood, King Of Queens, CSI: Crime Scene Investigation, love, lies, passion, Another World, Booker and Knots Landing.

One of her most famous roles was that of Dr. Kimberly Shaw in the series Melrose Place, which she played from 1992 to 1997. From 2004 to 2012 she played in the hit series Desperate Housewives Bree Van de Kamp. For this role, Marcia Cross was nominated in 2004 for the first time in her career for various television awards, including Emmy, Golden Satellite Award, TV Guide Award, 3 times for a Golden Globe and 5 times for the Screen Actors Guild Award. The Screen Actors Guild Award she has won 2 times with the ensemble. The Golden Satellite Award she received for her portrayal of Bree Van de Kamp in the second season of the series.
