Marco Parra

Marco Antonio Parra (born 22 January 1985) is a Mexican football player at the position of the striker. Officially, he was part of the squad of the champion team of Club Deportivo Guadalajara in the Apertura 2006, although he completed a single Erstligaeinsatz this season.

Life

Parra began his career in the young field of Club Deportivo Guadalajara and began his professional career in the reserve teams. At the age of 18, he was first appointed by the Dutch coach Hans Westerhof in the first team and made ​​his debut in the Mexican Primera División in a discharged on 22 October 2003 home game, which was won against the Tiburones Rojos Veracruz 3-1. His first and only goal in the Primera División, he scored on 29 November 2003 at the second leg of the Apertura Repechaje 2003 against Deportivo Toluca FC. Although his equalizing goal to make it 2-2 after 63 minutes paved the way for future 4-2 victory of his team, which, however, was not sufficient after the 0-4 first-leg deficit to reach the quarter-finals.

Under Hans Westerhof Parra played in the season 2003/ 04 a total of twelve missions, but after Westerhof had left the club, came over the next three years, only six Erstligaeinsätze added and Parra played mostly "only" in the Chivas reserve team of Club Deportivo Tapatío and its renaming as Chivas La Piedad (2004/ 05) and Chivas Coras (2005/ 06).

In summer 2007, Parra moved to Club León, where he was the next two years under contract and with whom he won the second division championship of the Clausura 2008. About the gambling also in the second Mexican league teams Cruz Azul Hidalgo and Reboceros La Piedad he came in 2012 to the Peruvian first division club Sport Boys, where he is currently under contract.
