Marek Matiaško

Marek Matiaško (born 29 October 1977 in Bojnice ) is a Slovak biathlete.

Marek Matiaško operates since 1993 Biathlon. The sport soldier from Banská Bystrica is trained by Pavol Kobela and starts for VSC Dukla Banská Bystrica. Since 1997 he is a member of the Slovak national team. His brother Miroslav Matiaško is also a biathlete.

Matiaško gave in 1997 at a sprint in Ruhpolding ( 110 ) made ​​his debut in the Biathlon World Cup. The highlight of his first season were the Junior World Championships in Forni Avoltri.
