Margaret Wangari Muriuki
Margaret Wangari Muriuki ( born March 21, 1986 in Subukia, Nakuru District ) is a Kenyan middle and long distance runner.
In 2007, she was more than 1500 m third of the Kenyan Championships and seventh at the Pan-African Games in Algiers in 2007.
In 2008, she was eighth at the World Cross Country Championships in Edinburgh and won with the Kenyan team silver. Two years later at the Cross Country Championships in Edinburgh she finished sixth and won the team gold. In the summer she won at the 10 km du Conseil General.
Margaret Wangari Muriuki is 1,65 m tall and weighs 45 kg. They first visited the Lari Primary School and then the Kagondo Secondary School, which they had to leave in 2006 because her family 's tuition could not muster. She worked on her family's farm, until she was recruited by the Kenyan police in 2007.
